Introduction

Surah al-Fatiha is the first chapter of the Quran, consisting of seven verses. It is a Meccan surah revealed at the beginning of the mission of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Surah Al-Fatiha is a profound chapter that lays the foundation for the spiritual journey of the believers.

  1. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
  2. All praises be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds;
  3. The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful;
  4. The Only Ruling Judge of the Day of Judgment.
  5. Thee alone we worship and Thy aid we seek.
  6. Guide us to the straight way,
  7. The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace,
    not of those who incurred Thy wrath, nor of those who went astray.
