The seven-hour drive from Guwahati, the capital of Assam, to Sivasagar offered a chance to witness the changing landscape of this beautiful northeastern state. The verdant tea gardens and lush paddy fields that enveloped the road were a sight to behold, showcasing the natural beauty of Assam.
After a long but picturesque bus ride, I finally arrived in Sivasagar. The town was not only a historical treasure trove but also a picturesque gem.
